This Coastal Contemporary style home features a tropical yet simple landscape design that compliments the dramatic and novel architectural embellishments of this home. It was important for the homeowners to have as much natural light as possible coming into the home so we made sure to maximize the plant selection of shrubs and groundcover and minimize any midstory that may obstruct natural lighting.

Having the benefit of a wide lot allowed us to design an outdoor garden courtyard located off the left side of the home outfitted with comfortable seating, fireplace, flower garden, and a water feature.

As you continue to the backyard the landscape stays thick on the property line ensuring adequate privacy for the homeowners without sacrificing any of their waterfront views.

This transitional style home features a tropical landscape design that compliments its modern rustic embellishments. As you navigate your way around this home the landscape becomes increasingly more tropical as your approach the boat dock giving the homeowners the private “tropical paradise” they were hoping for while still keeping their wish of a more formal design on the front facade.

We were able to maximize the views from the pool area by strategically placing palms and landscape beds that picture framed their waterfront views. We also incorporated a simple yet elegant pathway that leads from the pool area down to the dock.
